Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Escondido Custom Upholstery ("ECU")!

By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:  

Services and Estimates
   - All services will be outlined in a written estimate, including labor, materials, and an anticipated timeline.  
   - Estimates are valid for 30 days and may be subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances or customer modifications.  

Payments
   - A deposit of 50% is required before work begins. Final payment is due upon project completion.  
   - We accept all major forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and checks.  

Project Timelines  
   - Completion times depend on project complexity and material availability. While we strive to meet estimated deadlines, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.  

Cancellations and Refunds 
   - Cancellations must be made in writing within 7 days of the deposit payment.  
     - Refunds for custom materials are not available once materials have been ordered.  
   - Processing fees associated with payments will not be included in the refunded amount.
     - No refunds will be issued after work has begun on the project.
Liability
   - ECU is not responsible for pre-existing damage to vehicles or components. Customers are encouraged to inspect vehicles before and after service.  

Warranty
   - We offer a limited warranty on workmanship and materials for 1 year from the completion date, excluding normal wear and tear.  



Policy Plan  

Customer Communication  
   - We prioritize clear and consistent communication. Customers will be informed of project updates, delays, or changes in scope as soon as possible.  

Material Selection 
   - We use only high-quality materials. Customers are welcome to request specific materials, which will be sourced upon approval.  

Storage Fees 
   - Vehicles left at our facility for more than 7 days after project completion may incur a storage fee of $50 per day.  

Privacy Policy
   - ECU respects your privacy. Any personal information shared with us will be used solely for project purposes and will not be shared with third parties.  



Disclaimer

General Disclaimer  
Escondido Custom Upholstery provides services on an "as-is" basis. While we guarantee the quality of our workmanship and materials, the following disclaimers apply:  

- ECU is not responsible for delays caused by material shortages, supplier issues, or unforeseen vehicle conditions.  
- ECU is not liable for damages or losses resulting from improper use, neglect, or unauthorized alterations to completed work.  

Material Swatch Disclaimer
Material swatch colors may vary from the actual material due to dye migration, manufacturing processes, and environmental factors. While we strive to provide the closest match possible, slight variations are normal and do not constitute a defect.  

Third-Party Materials Disclaimer
At the customer's request, third-party materials may be used in projects. ECU is not responsible for the quality, durability, or performance of customer-supplied materials.  

Modification and Restoration Disclaimer
All modifications and restorations are performed based on customer specifications. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure modifications comply with local laws and regulations.
